Let It Snow.....in Mississippi!!

Well, Mississippi got its first snow this season. We (the dogs and me) had so much fun playing in it Saturday. Ben hunted all day Saturday so I only have two pictures of him and it is Friday night. I love seeing the snow come, but love to see it go because of the danger that comes with it—ice! :)

Perry Got Hitched!

Perry and Garon's wedding went great! All the Perry's were down and I was able to catch up on the latest greatest from all of them. Perry must have felt very special because some came all from the way from LA and D.C. Nothing but the best goes out to those two love birds.

My Birfday!

I'm ENGAGED!

Well, as the tag line says—I’m officially getting married! Dr. Laura Schlessinger always says you aren't engaged until you have a ring and a date. I got 'em both! Ben and I will wed on June 19, 2010. (Mom and Dad's anniversary—how neat is that?!)

..So I guess you want to know how he did it?

Mom and Dad were down for my birthday weekend Saturday night and we were about to open a few gifts, even though my birthday wasn’t until Sunday. I opened all the presents, but had one card to open from Ben. I was instructed to open it last. By the way, I did not see this coming!

I then opened the card and read that I have one last gift. Ben reached around the couch and pulled out a beautiful package for me to unwrap. In it was a ring box. I looked over at Ben and he was on one knee. He shook as he was placing the ring on my RIGHT ring finger! (Ben hates when I tell that..Ha!) Then I said YES!!! Of course!
We are so excited! Ben has already started the countdown—247 days. Mark it on your calendar. I tell you what. I truly feel like the luckiest girl in the world. Ben is God's gift to me.

Watch Out!

Dad bought a laptop JUST for him. He is officially up-to-date with technology. He has a vehical with bluetooth, a new Razor cell phone, and a laptop! We played around with his laptop built-in-camera. It's pretty cool! I HAVE to save up for a new laptop. I have fallen in love all over!
