I ask for your prayers....

I wanted to share this blog and its link below. Please, please pray for this sweet and God fearing family. Please keep Carter, Meagan, and Brandon in your daily prayers. God has worked miracles in their lives already!

Yours,

Amy

Carter's Journey: The Next Step...: We received news that we have patiently been waiting on for 5 months now.  It was not the news we were wanting to hear although we knew it ...

We have an eater on our hands-Mackenzie at 6 months

After going to Mackenzie's 6 month check up (and shots-boooo!), the doctor suggested I start feeding her because of the nutrients she needs that breast milk does supply. The dreaded moment is now here. :)

Dr. Merritt suggested I offer her oatmeal for 5 or so days then start her on a yellow fruit or veggie. Mackenzie loved her first taste of food and even grabbed the spoon to feed herself. She is such a squirt! We do have a video to put up of her eating--if I ever have the time to upload it.

Ben's First Game of the Season & Mom's Visit

Well, it's that time of year--baseball season! WCU's first game this year's in Shreveport, LA against the LSUS Pilots. I hate that it is 4 hours away. The weather has been real rainy this weekend, so I'm glad it was an away game.

On a good note, Mom came to stay! I haven't seen her in a few weeks so I was so excited to hear she was going to take off Friday to spend with Mackenzie and me.

Friday and Saturday have been full of shopping. I'm glad Mackenzie loves getting out and is such a good baby. I'm amazed at how much patience she already has! Mom got to see how happy she is all the time. The baby wakes up smiling and goes to bed in a good mood. We sure are enjoying every minute, second of her! I'm heeding the advice from Mom in that I'm spending as much as I can with her.

I posted some pictures below of Ben leaving for his first trip and Mom with Mackenzie.
